Nasopharyngeal Samples Management Strategy During the COVID-19 Pandemic: Experience of the Pasteur Institute of Côte d'Ivoire (2020)

Medical testing laboratories are an essential link in the efficient management of infectious diseases by identification pathogens involved. However, arrangements for their operation may appear more difficult times health crises and raise multiple issues that compromise usual level quality assurance biological analyses response to needs. The smooth running control laboratory activities a crisis situation requires implementation system allows federation all available energies. We report here on experience Pasteur Institute Côte d'Ivoire, charge nasopharyngeal samples during COVID 19 pandemic, describing assessment pre-analytical first quarter (March May 2020). then present implemented strategy results obtained from June September 2020.
